“We are not the fragile or the girls that needs to be protected. We are the girls that can entertain our fans and shout “Cheer up!” We don’t want to give off the fragile-girl image. We want to be the girls that are cheerful, pure and most importantly, girls that can be your friend.”- SNSD

“I want to do something, right here, right now, to shame them, to make them accountable, to show the Capitol that whatever they do or force us to do there is a part of every tribute they can’t own. That Rue was more than a piece in their Games. And so am I.”
Right now, if I could ride a time machine and go to meet you, I wouldn't wish for anything else. Before the memories become distant and fleeting, I need a time machine.Sad that I wasn’t able to include Yoona, Sunny and Sooyoung. I just couldn’t find a connection in their scenes with those of SJ. This idea amazes me especially because there is something common in the scenes of each pairing so I was able to make up short stories for each:
Jessica is a famous celebrity who always receives gifts from her fans, roses being a frequent present; but all gifts combined were never enough, all red roses combined were never enough—she only needs one rose from someone she had loved once but lost. If only she could ride a time machine and meet him again.
Yuri hugs herself at 2 in the morning finding comfort and solace. She rejected Yesung’s marriage proposal—explains the balloons and confetti scattered everywhere. Maybe she wasn’t ready, maybe she was afraid, she really does not know. But it was a proposal that would never meet a second chance. She lost him that night and maybe, maybe if she could ride a time machine, no’s will become yes’ and Yesung might still be hers.
Tiffany walks in the park but unlike what was used to, she is alone now. It was still painful as every step she makes, memories of her and Siwon flashes at her, even the first day they met and he offers his umbrella. Right now she only wishes for one thing, and if she could only ride a time machine, Tiffany knows he would be standing next to her still.
Seohyun cradles the portrait Kyuhyun had drawn for her as she cries to the agony that she is forced to marry another man. Kyuhyun does the same, relishing the memories they had together. If she could only ride a time machine, Seohyun would run away with Kyuhyun, just as he told her. But regretting the past isn’t always the solution, Seohyun realizes. Now she runs and tries to make things right.
Hyoyeon leaves Hyukjae at the train station bidding the last of her goodbyes, not because she wants to but because she has to. Hyukjae cries, unable to bear the aching of his heart seeing Hyoyeon go but he rides a time machine and hopes that things might change and Hyoyeon stays.
Taeyeon remembers her happy days with Leeteuk. If she could ride a time machine, she would surely want to return in the exact same place, the exact same time. Yet somehow, surprises still find a way to make Taeyeon’s heart skip a bit.
